Group Exercises

Where members come together in classes led by experienced, certified instructors putting exercise and music together in a structured and safe environment. With the introduction of Group X, members have the option of adding variety to their exercise programs. Group X is conducted through an average 60 minutes class. The success and popularity of our Group X classes is largely due to our ability to offer a wide variety of group exercise classes suitable for participants of all ages and backgrounds, from first-timers to die-hard athletes.

But most importantly, Group X allows members to meet and make new friends; and have a good time while working out! Our wide range of group X includes:

Yoga

A fantastic mind/body workout. It improves flexibility and strengthens core, set to uplifting and inspirational music. This class will leave you feeling refreshed and renewed with a sense of well being and calmness.Reduces stress, tension and blood pressure. Improves circulation, digestion and body balance.


Spinning

Our indoor cycling class, set to the rhythm of motivating music. This 30 – 45 mins workout can burn umpteen amount of caloriesa workout and leaves you with extreme sense of accomplishment and yes SWEAT ! Learn all the basic cycling moves like standing up, sitting down, changing hand positions, speeding up and slowing down. You control your own resistance levels and sprint speed so you can build up your training level over time.


Les Mills Body Pump®

Body Pump® is for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast.Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, Body Pump® gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 590 calories. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own!You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.Body Pump® is available as a either a 55, 45 or 30-minute workout.This program is based on the rep effect, a proven formula that exhausts muscles using light weights, while performing high repetitions – this is the secret to developing lean, athletic muscle.


Zumba®

Dance fitness classes that are fun, energetic, and make you feel amazing.A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class. Its perfect for everybody and every body! Each Zumba® class is designed to bring people together to sweat it on.


Aerobics

Workout that combines rhythmic aerobic exercise with stretching and strength training routines with the goal of improving all elements of fitness (flexibility, muscular strength, and cardio-vascular fitness). This 45 mins workout will leave you wanting for more.


Kickboxing

‘Action lovers’..this one’s for you. Experience the fun of working out with quick action and self defence moves. This stand up combat sport, based on kicking and punching will blow the calories away. It was historically developed from karate, Muay Thai and Western boxing. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defense, general fitness, or as a contact sport.


Circuit Training

This is a form of body conditioning or resistance training using high-intensity aerobics. It targets
strength building and muscular endurance. An exercise “circuit” is one completion of all prescribed exercises in the program. When one circuit is complete, you begin the first exercise again for the next circuit. Traditionally, the time between exercises in circuit training is short, often with rapid movement to the next exercise.


Abx

A dedicated program for your core. Exercising muscles around the core, this program provides the vital ingredient for a stronger body. A stronger core makes you better at all things you do, from everyday life to your favorite sports – it’s the glue that holds everything together.
During this workout trained instructors guide you through correct technique as you work with resistance tubes and weight plates, as well as body weight exercises like crunches, and hovers. You will also get into some hip, butt and lower back exercises. It’s ideal for tightening your tummy and butt, as well as improving functional strength and assisting in injury prevention.
